    a little re-reading I see that Rob was referring to the P2 Store becoming obsolete not P2… My mistake but I guess I still don’t know how the P2 Store would become obsolete either…

    Hi Rob,

    Since you cannot view anything off of your P2 Store, it is strictly a storage and transfer device, there is nothing here to be burned by. I trust you are liking the camera. 😉

    Chris, don’t be so quick to jump into the panic zone, buddy. You’ll cause yourself some heart failure.

    Panasonic has invested their future in P2 and I would think that things can only get better. In a few years, the P2 cards will hold much more storage and a bunch of products will be developed to make it better. And on and on and on. Be patient.

    The only problem for now is storing the original files with intact time code on something other than a stack of hard drives. The rest is cake.
