Need a little new camera info: PXW-X180
Howdy all,
Can anyone verify that the new Sony PXW X180 camera has or has not some kind of digital zoom function. This camera is going to be perfect for many smaller multi camera sports productions and even with the 25x lens. At times a 1.5 or 2x button is great. I’ve read every bit of info written about this camera so far and no mention. All my other Sony camcorders have this function so I’m standing by for more reports. I can wait till about mid Oct then I have to purchase 6 units.. .Please don’t make me get some panny’s … thanks for any input – Eric -

I have the camera. It does not have a digital zoom function. The x25 is great.
