Need a great AD-DA converter (96Khz)
Hi everyone,
We try to find a AD-DA converter that could well fit our mastering studio. Actually, we have a Benchmark DAC1 (That works great) and 2 Apogee (DA is dead and AD work fine). Since our workflow combine digital and analog equipments, a new ADDA will make it easier. We just tried the first generation of the Sphynx, by Merging, and didn’t get good results. We’re going to tests some well known brands, but I would like to have your opinions, based on your experience and knowledge.

Yeah we know Weiss, we have the EQ1 and DS1-MK2. But I heard that was not the better choice for ADDA converter, what do you think ?

Tried it too. What is great with Lavry is that you can configure it as you want with different i/o cards.
What do you think about DCS ?
