need a dvd recorder
I’m wondering if there is a dvd recorder out there that has component inputs.
I’ve only been able to find composite in with component out.
If there are no component input dvd recorders out there, which would you suggest to get the best picture quality?
Right now I’m using pioneer Elite DVR-7000. I’ve had it a couple of years, I used a dvd cleaner disc on it once already but it’s giving some signs of failure. Everyone once in a while, I’ll record something on it and it won’t finalize the disc or even play it. Is it more cost effective to get it fixed or buy a new unit?

The Pioneer PRV-LX1 has component in (as well a s-video, etc.)
