    Need a DVCPRO HD codec that will work with G5 PowerPc

    Need a DVCPRO HD codec that will work with G5 PowerPc. I have quicktime 7.6.6 and mac os 10.5, 1.8ghz G5 powerpc.

    I can play the .mov files but I only hear sound, no picture they are from p2 cards already converted from mxf’s

    I downloaded the codec plugin for quicktime from “sheervideo” for power pc but it doesn’t seem to work, same problem.

    Is there another quicktime plugin or a separate application I can download that doesn’t only work with intel computers?
