Can someone direct me to a link where I can download a DJI 4k clip so I can “test ride”/edit and render the clip to see if my computer can handle it?

Side note: Today, I went to an authorized DJI dealer in my city and the sales rep argued with me. He didn’t say if DJI doesn’t provide clips. He only said he’d have to get permission from the drone pilot (a customer). I repeated that I wanted the dealer’s test clip so I could test it on my computer. I even brought with me a SD card so the file could be transferred to me. Again, this guy’s ears and brain couldn’t comprehend well.

Again, I would appreciate any and all responses to where I can get RAW 4K footage.

    Thanks all

A google search turned up this forum thread where user “mohan” uploaded a 3 minute clip (1.2 GB.) of raw 4k footage.

Mike, thank you for replying so quickly. Yes, it is 4K, but in reality, it looks like 720p rendered to 4k. Very poor resolution.

I do appreciate your efforts. But, if you do run into another link (I’ve spent some time on the Internet looking and others have as well, with not much luck), please send me a link to it.

    Thanks again.

I have a DJI Phantom 3 4K drone but it does not do 4K RAW because it is simply not capable of that. It will shoot raw pictures though at 12MP

Victor, thanks for your reply. As I originally posted…what I mean by raw “clip” usually means video. “Raw” video clip means no post fx, just straight out of the camera.

I have found 4K clips. My intent was/is to see how 4K clips run on my current computers.

Again, Victor, thanks for your reply.

ohh.. ok great, I am glad you found it already but should you need some other related footage just let me know, I look forward to see what you discover since these clips run at 10-15 fps on my machine set in “good->auto”.

As a side not you can experiment with their transcoder which grabs the footage out of the 4k drone and turns it (at least on paper) into ProRes 4:2:2-10 after the transcoding it runs better but still impossible to get a 30 fps on Good->Auto
