    1. Looks like a film burn to me (you can google this, there are clips you can buy, or you can recreate it a bit yourself, there is a tutorial somewhere that addresses it). Basically it’s put in Add mode over the top and it blows out all the highlights and makes the colors all hot.

    2. A zoom blur. There’s an effect for it in AE. I think they’ve put a blending mode on as well to make it glow/lighten more.

    3. Do you just mean the white blurry thing over the top? It is probably something like fractal noise, but could be anything, even just an image, it’s only there for a few frames and moves around a bit. Again, a blending mode like Add or screen would put it on top easily.

If you aren’t familiar with AE, you’re going to have to learn quite a bit of the basics so that you can use the program… and make sure you learn about the blending modes for these effects.

0:14 is just some footage from artbeats Film Clutter added to the shot:

0:37 is a quick flash of the “trapcode Shine” plugin set to it’s default colors

0:57 also, is just some flashy footage overlaid with “add” transfermode, no doubt this too is something from Film Clutter.

The fact that I can almost identify with certainty which library clips were used should be an indicator of how cliché this look is by now…

This video must have been done in a very big hurry. There is no creativity here; as Filip says, lots of clichés. However, sports videos don’t seem to care that everybody and their mother uses these effects; it’s almost like it’s part of sports.

Stuart also makes a good point. You will need to read the manual. After Effects is a very powerful program, but that means there is a lot to learn. You can use AE for many years and still learn new things almost daily with it.
