I need some real-world advice, please!

Finished and happily screened a doc shot, edited and color-corrected/mixed in its native DVCPROHD 720 23.98.
Must now provide a standard DVD for producer to replicate and sell.

Will there be any practical difference in image quality (and end credit clarity- PhotoShop imports) if I paste my existing final DVCPROHD timeline into a fresh ProRes sequence, clear out the CC filters I’ve done and adjust it all again, then export that timeline self-contained for Compressor?

Is it worth the time considering the end result format?
    And if so, which ProRes?

I say not really. Going to ProRes will then add a layer of compression. Edit and color correct DVCPRO HD. I have done so on dozens of shows for cable networks, and they all look great.

    Thanks Shane!

This was my thought too, but I am not experienced enough in the retail DVD world to know for sure.
