National Treasure-like Credits
I would like to create credits for a project like the credits at the end of the movie National Treasure where the viewer appears to be traveling past the edge of the page of words and then you see the backside of that page. It is a very nice 3D effect.
There are multiple pages for this effect to really be effective and I have done some experimentation with the 3D track motion but it seems that I am not able to use the “screen” layer function so that you can see the multiple pages while editing/building in 3D mode. My credits pages all have sepia lettering on black background.
I would like the final product to appear that all the pages are “static” with some distance in-between the parallel spaces pages, layers somehow locked so the editor can move the camera through space, so each layer has a slightly different perspective (like a cube with a page on the front, one in the middle and one on the back) as you fly through the front and then look back at the backside of them all).
Does someone have a good tutorial source for creating this type 3D visual effect? Thanks in advance,
David
