    Hey folks,

Please take a look at the attached still. Notice the light behind the presenter: there’s a nasty bit of red aliasing off its left edge.

The footage is AVCHD natively edited in Premiere Pro and sent to AE for grading. If I can’t remove it from the original footage, might transcoding the footage using an HQ compressor such as 5DtoRGB get rid of it?

    Thanks in advance!

It was actually an FS700 Dave!

I do have a bit of time, but if it means removing it frame by frame I’m not sure the budget quite justifies it.

It’s on a tracking shot, but I’m wondering if a cheeky bit of photoshop work might suffice…

Its hard to tell from the stills, but the channels all look a little fried. I would try tracking the object and applying a localized channel blur.

5DtoRGB may help, as I would also assume any conversion with FFMPEG/FFMBC as they bypass Apple’s Quicktime elements which seem to chew up video.
