  NAS versus iSCSI network impact?

  Does anyone have any test data, personal anecdotes or empirical data
  regarding the impact on network traffic caused by adding a NAS or iSCSI based
  SAN to the network? I’m trying to find some best practices for adding storage to
  the network without adding too much network traffic.
