    Hi guys :

I’ve had a SEAGATE NAS 220 for a couple years and i love it … we recently had to move studio … the unit did not want to start after the move, so i yanked out the drives but of course they are partitioned with Linux, is there a way i can mount these drive on OSX so that i can get the DATA off…?

    Thanks in advance

I think you’d have to recreate the exact environment that the NAS was in before. An identical enclosure, for example. Perhaps it’s something that can be fixed, like a bad power supply or something like that. If there’s a computer repair shop nearby, perhaps they can get it up and running. I can’t imagine that Seagate will be much help, sadly.

    Thanks John.

i figured as much…. just bought another Seagate NAS exactly like the old one so i guess ill stick the drive in a USB enclosure and attach it and that should work

    Thanks again John
