  • naming of merged layers

    Hi All,
When I merge two layers, the new single layer always takes on the name of the top layer of the two that I merged. Is there any way to get the new single layer to take on the name of the bottom layer of the two merged layers?
    Thanks for the help.

It happens when you select 2 layers and then use option Merge Layers, it’s useful when merging more than 2 layers.
If you aim to merge TWO layers, you can use option Merge Down – then the new layer will be named as the bottom one 😉
