Todd, very good point. I find working on my own stuff that hardest cause I am so close to it. An outside view on th two terms actually being very different helps.

Whatever best represents you and your work. I knew I wanted Creative and Media in my title because we’re a full service production and post company. We’re not limited to just video or production. We’ve done print, animation, web, graphics, music, sound design and even consultation on production workflow and facility design.

We’re a very creative bunch and we create media. What that media is changes by the job and as technology changes.

Whatever you create, make sure it’s flexible so as your business grows and takes on more work, the name doesn’t feel like “it doesn’t fit anymore.”

Do Google Analytics cost? Reading the terms it says they can charge from time and time. I am not sure if I am not looking in the right area, I was just wanting to pull the keyword information.

It depends on what you offer. As others have said above, choose what best summarises your company and the services you provide.

At Stada Media, although we primarily offer video production to businesses, we also offer the aspects of media surrounding that: design, copy, and marketing. That’s why it’s not enough to simply have ‘video production’ or ‘video’ in our title.

It’s about towing the line between narrowing it down too much so you push potential clients away, and not becoming too broad in your branding that even YOU aren’t sure what you’re presenting to people.

To us, ‘media’ represents the entire bubble of creativity and creation that goes into our entire service.
