Name an output QT just what you want ?
Heya
So I’m sure I could do this in pref versions.I want to select either the entire SEQ or a clip at a time “render this clip” and add a load of outputs to qt’s
I want to name them i.e. CS_2014_ashot_V001
When I tweak it I select the output thats been rendered once (green tick) change to CS_2014_ashot_V002
and render out.
issue is they come out CS_2014_ashot_v00143524542.mov. taking thats the frame number?
Tried all routes but can’t get just the filename I req. It’s messing with the rest of our automated pipeline to upload revisions. Having to manually go in after all 30 renderes and delete characters :-/
And I wish it would stop with putting a _ after the custom name after render.. just overwrite it :-/

A workaround: use a utility like Better Finder Renamer (for Mac OS) or Better File Renamer (for Windows) to rename hundreds of files at one time:
