nagging edit to tape issue
when recording a sequence to tape, you have the option to include color bars in edit to tape. You can also set the audio level of the bars independently. So why is it that the level of the bars being recorded to tape changes when I change the sequence’s master audio level. In otherwords, my sequence master level is perfect, but when I adjust the color bar level to zero, it cranks the sequence level off the charts. Anybody else run into this?

I just add Bars and Tone edited at the head of my finished timeline.
No need to deal with the “Edit-to-Tape” B&T at all.
