They are touting ProHD as not a format…but a technology for shooting video. I don’t really know what that means, but I know one thing…In order to edit JVC’s version of HDV, which is with the ProHD technology, you have to have Lumurie. One of the new features of FCP5 is that it edits HDV natively…but not ProHD? I never could get a good answer to anything about that.
