Well into a long form project. Captured in excess of 100 hours of footage shot 16:9 and captured as such. Suddenly all the clips I am capturing are 4:3 unless I go individually to each logged clip, hit item properties and click anamorphic. Sequences are all set to anamorphic. Can’t find anywhere to click a box which will resume capturing 16:9 as a default setting. What stupid trick am I missing?

Assuming that you are capturing clips already logged as 4:3, you need to change you capture settings. Example (DV NTSC ANAMORPHIC). Also make sure you select “capture at current settings” To change you capture settings, go to the drop drown menu underneath machine control drop down menu on the second or third tab of the log and capture tool settings. It can also be changed in the capture tab of the audio/video settings.
