Those DVD cameras are for people who never edit. I talk to a lot of them at Disney World. I quite often ask people if they ever edit their videos. The vast majority say no. They just play them on the TV. Or, they just take out the DVD and play it. They don’t really even understand why I would ask. Who edits? That is why they bought the DVD camera in the first place.

When I find the occasional person who edits, I hand out my card, with my web site address. It leads to interesting conversations. Which, since I now live in Florida and go to Epcot for concerts almost weekly, I look forward to. That is kind of the point for me now. To go to the parks and talk to people. It’s fun.

I like giving out some information that points out parts of the parks that are pertinent to their family type and ages. And my wife and I enjoy finding people who are taking pictures of their spouse and children so we can offer to take a group picture. It is often the only picture they get with everyone in the shot. My wife gets really bossy and tells them where to put their hands, and how to stand. She says she wants it to be the picture for next season’s Christmas card. Most people are thrilled to take direction.
