My videos aren’t working in Vegas
This problem recently started for me. Any video I record now that gets put into vegas freezes up. If I press play on it it’ll show just a still image and play the sound then when I press pause it freezes and says vegas has stopped working. all my other vids recorded before this work but these dont

How are you recording the video? (camera? screen capture? what program?, etc.)
What codec does the video use? (MPEG4/x.264, MPEG2, DV, DivX, etc.)
Do you have an codec-paks installed? (K-Lite, etc.)
The more you can tell us about what you are using, the better we can understand what the problem might be.

It seems I’ve solved the problem I just changed my recording format form 720p to 1080i
