I’m new to editing video – so I downloaded adobe premiere pro cs3 and thought I’d give it a go:

I’m using my digital camera to take footage (sony cybershot). I know how to use the program now, but anyway I loaded my files into the prog, using the DV – NTSC standard 48khz preset, (tried the others but no luck either)

So I load it up, set the in + out points and throw it into the timeline, but for some reason the video is lagging/jittering/freezing (not running smoothly.

I downloaded a MPEG plugin for the prog to try fix, no luck, I converted all files to AVI and then tried that. But that caused my vids to not have any audio.

I then converted to AVI xvid, it worked but it caused my video to be all pixelated.

    please help.

Post your system specs and the specs of footage. Are you running a raid drive?

“Oop, I think my render is done!”
