My Small AVID Rep Meeting
HI,
I wanted to ask any Media Composer users out there if they can tell me how there systems are operating. I am meeting to discuss a possible system upgrade this friday. A very high end avid rep was just hired here in Vancouver. I have had some serious issues with my avid’s in the last few years, and I wanted to ask anyone if they had any things they may ask me to add at the meeting.
Should I outfit a room with a higher end solution of just go small.

I use MC adrenaline with dnx upgrade. Works good except when I bring a program from stage tools over from a mac. Also, the titles are buggy sometimes. There were some memory issues. They claim to have fixed them with the latest release and I haven’t heard anything lately.
Unless your doing HDCAM or above it seems to me like you’re better off getting the MC with mojo sdi. “only” $ 7000. Doesn’t include scope and HD monitor of course.
