I just finished editing a small project, about 10 minutes, but with lots of both still and video files… and while i was doing some minor tweaking my pc froze and i had to do a hard restart…now when i try and open the project it begins to load and then gives me a message saying the project is damaged and cannot be opened..is there any way to recover with something like this…the project was saved many times over along the way….and i would like to get to it!!

    thanks

You’ll have to use an auto-save version assuming you didn’t have autosaved disabled. Very important to save backup copies of your projects (on different drives} several times a day. Murphy lives and will get you sooner or later if you don’t. Hope he hasn’t already.

You may need to check the XML formating.

If you want to send me the project file, or a link for it, I can take a look to see if it is something simple. Contact me via my web site.
