Hello,

here is my new PC for working in CS5 AAE, PREMIERE, CINEMA4D…
What you think?:)

MB: MSI P67A-C45
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K, 3.40GHz
CPU freezer: Coolink Corator DS
RAM: Kingston 8GB (Kit 2x4GB) HyperX Blu 1600MHz DDR3 CL9 DIMM
VGA: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 570,1280MB GDDR5
PSU: Seasonic M12II-620 620W
SSD: Crucial SSD m4 128GB 2.5” SATA 6Gb/s MLC
HDD: (Storage/output): Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB HDD
DVD: Samsung DVD+/-RW 22x SATA
CASE: Fractal Design Define R3, Black Pearl Noctua SE

I think one SSD 126GB (OS, PROGRAMS)
and 1 HDD 1TB with (STORAGE) will be fine, no ?:)

Please tell me your opinion 🙂
Thank’s a lot!

Building computers isn’t my bag, but I can certainly tell you that 8Gb of RAM is about the minimum you’d want to have for a 64-bit O/S and the programs you mentioned. If you can’t afford more RAM now, at least make sure you plan for upgrade … for example, filling your slots with 2Gb sticks that would become trash in order to upgrade would be a bad idea, but you should be fine with two 4Gb sticks that you can add to.

Need MOAR RAM!

Also, I tend to prefer having 3 hard drives – the OS drive with proggies, a fast and large drive for media and project files and a third for disc cache and rendering to. This prevents any bottlenecks, but might be overkill in some people’s minds.
