    Hi,

I have 3 LAcies 500gb each connected to my MacPro on FireWire 800…I am editing a 120min documentary…but while i am playing my timeline….the disks that are not in use… go idle …and i get a dropped frame e warning.

Is there anyway to remedy this ?

    Raj

System Prefs > Energy Saver > Turn OFF put hard drives to sleep when possible. Turn off anything to do with putting drives to sleep.

I would double check your system preferences. Go into energy saver and make sure to uncheck the box that says “Put the hard drive(s) to sleep when possible.

    Just like you remember it…
