My footage is shifting after render
After the update (13.1) My footage is shifting to the right on the completion of rendering after using warp stabilizer. Is anyone else having the same problem after updating? I included an image as well

Weird. Just to be clear, is the clip shifting to the right on the timeline, or is the image shifting to the right within the frame?

That is odd indeed. And this is only happening after rendering? When the WS effect finishes analyzing everything looks fine, but after rendering it moves to the right? If so, sounds like a bug.
If not, try deleting the WS effect and then adding it back to the clip. Instead of “Stabilize, Crop, Autoscale”, this time set it to “Stabilize only”. Then use the Motion effects to scale the image up slightly and adjust the position until the whole clip plays without any borders popping into frame (i.e. crop and scale it manually instead of having the WS effect do it automatically.)
If you’re still seeing changes after a render, it’s gotta be a bug!

Yeah it’s still doing it :/ I exported the footage to see what would happen and it exports normally so I guess I’m just going to have to deal with it for a bit. Thanks for responding though!

Hello Lauren, I am wondering if you ever found a solution to your shifting footage. I am having the same issue. I am using a 2.7K timeline with 2.7K footage and 4k footage. I am nesting the 4K footage so I can use the warp stabilizer effect. Everything is fine like you said in playback and then when I render, it jumps down and to the left. However, When I switch to a 4k timeline the problem is resolved, the only issue being now that I have had to scale up my 2.7K which leaves me with a lower resolution than downscaling the 4K to the 2.7K timeline. Ahhhhhh, HELP!!!

I never did find a solution to this problem. However, upon exporting the wonky footage, I found it exported perfectly fine. I’ve just been adding the warp stabilizer, letting it do it’s thing, and then once the footage shifts, I just toggle the effect off so I’m not annoyed by the shifted footage during playback. Before I export the footage, I toggle the effect back on. Hope this helps at least a little bit!
