My FCP 5 not responding/opening
Greeting,
Recently, I was editing a commercial the other night and everything was going well. Today, I attempt to open FCP 5 and nothing is happening. I open FCP 5 by itself nothing, open the project the same deal.
I’ve restarted and shut-down hoping FCP 5 will open up again. Eventually, it didn’t work out for me and this is the first time ever. What am I to do?
I’m currently using PowerBook G4/Version Mac OSX 10.3.9

If “Open Last Project” was checked in the User Preferences then even if you open FCP by itself it will still try to open that project. So if the project file is corrupt it won’t open.
Try duplicating the project icon and opening the copy. This usually works for me. If that doesn’t work trash your preferences and reboot. You’ll find this under /Users/yourcomputer’sname/Library/Preferences/com.apple.FinalCutPro.plist.Hope that helps,
