    my drive does not mount

    Hi,

    One of my drives (firewire) does not mount. I’m editing on Avid Express 5, and when i turn on the computer i get a message saying that the disk is unnaceptable, asking me if I want to eject, initialize, or ignore. Please how do I save my drive and get the media that’s in it back.

    Have you used the drive on that system before? You might well get that problem if you were trying tro mount a mac formatted disk without having macmounter or similar intalled.
