My clips don’t retain their effects
Hi there,
Every time I open my project, my clips lose about half of their effects and specifications. They don’t lose them permanently–in fact, all that seems to be necessary is dragging all the clips in a sequence back and forth once and everything is reactivated.
The problem is that reactivating them becomes very tedious with all the nested sequences I have.
If it helps to know, I’m working on the latest MacBook Pro in CS3.
Any ideas? Thanks

No, it’s DV. I also forgot to mention that the clips also lose their media links in the same temporary way.

What happens if you double any given clip on the timeline to load it into the source viewer?

When I double-click it, it doesn’t retain the effects, and often it’s not even queued up to the right place.

Hey..
Once you load a clip from the timeline into the source viewer…
just try to slip it (grab the hash marks between the in and out marks and move them)…

Is this a trial version of the software? If it’s a full copy then I’d reinstall the software. It sounds like the install has become corrupted.
