My Baby Died!!!
The LCD screen on my dvx100A turned a purrple tint, then the camera had a message come up that said tape lock auto shutoff. When I opened the camera door the camera had ate one of the tapes and the power to the camera no longer works. Is there anything I can do to fix it. I am currently out of the country on a job, so I cant take it in, unless there is somewhere in Kenya I can send it.

Sounds like it’s in dire need of major servicing- sorry. Can you get your hands on another camera?
