mxpro dv live digitizing
Hi,
I bought a MXpro dv mainly for its ability to switch 4 cameras and output digital video to FCP. I wasn’t going to use the video as a main record as I record in camera and post the show but I wanted to use the mxpro dv to direct cameras and for some backup audio and a reference cut. I have been doing some tests with it and I can’t get FCP to recognize it at all. I do have my capture settings to NTSC DV/ non-controllable device.
Has anybody had any experience with this?

That’s what I figure I was just grasping at threads hoping I didn’t buy this for no reason.
Does anyone know of a switcher that can out put DV to a Macbook. All I need is SD for now.
