  MXO2 Mini � anyone have experience with it?

  Hi – I reviewed the forum for similar posts (and Google FU) but there are none that specifically answer my questions about the MXO mini.

  I’m looking for an inexpensive but effective (I know – you get what you pay for) solution for HD monitoring from a MacPro desktop and am leaning toward the MXO2 mini.

  I’ve looked at the Intensity Pro card and the MXO2 mini. Since the MXO2 will do cross conversion and up/downscaling in addition to monitoring, it seems more suited to my needs. Is anyone using this for After Effects RAM previews? I currently have an old DVMC-2 vis firewire to a CRT monitor, it works but I’d like to see these in HD rather than letterboxed SD.

  Anything to share? The good, bad and ugly – problems with config, settings, anything or is it as advertised?
