    Hi,

    I have a macbook pro and a 23″ cinema display. I am thinking of getting the Matrox MXO for true HD monitering(as true as you can get with a LCD). Right now the cinema dislay is my working display(timeline, viewer, canvas, browser) and I preview with the same monitor through Digital Cinema Desktop Preview. My question is this…Can I keep working on the cinema display as I do if it is wired through the MXO?

    Is there any other new gadget revealed at NAB that does the same thing?

    You can hook up the MXO and still see the Apple monitor as a computer monitor and view your final cut pro windows, or you can do VIEW>ALL FRAMES and it becomes your broadcast monitor.

    So to answer your question, yes, add the MXO and you can keep doing what you are doing.
