mxf4mac and XDCAM
Does anyone use mxf4mac and XDCAM with FCP? It seems that the plug in would allow you to edit the native mxf files from the disks without converting the clips to .mov’s using Sony’s Log and Transfer application. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it better than converting to Quicktime first?

I don’t with Xdcam, but I do with p2. Can’t live without it now. I would contact them and ask for a demo and see how you like it.
