MXF xdcam hd Viewer
I am Wondering is there a player or viewer or plugin out there that will allow a MAC or PC to Watch a review MXF clips that are using the XDcam hD 422 (50mbit) codec. Ideally this would be for clients to be able to review material created from MC 6

I couldn’t resist.
First link. XDCAM browser software. If it’s the XDCAM’s native format this will work. If you’ve already AMAed into the Avid, the browser software won’t work. I believe Calibrated Software makes an MXF import program that allows you to view MXF files like Quicktime files. I don’t know if it will display the timecode, but it will show you the content. I believe it’s about $250.

I did google it first for myself but thanks for the help 🙂 anyway i did install browswer but it doesn’t view edited exported MXFs (atleast as far as i can tell) i will look at calibrated
