MXF to Quicktime/FCP

hi,
if it´s MXF, you need to buy MXF4MAC or maybe you can handle it with the calibrated plugin, so you can import nativ mxf-files to FCP.

If it’s a DCP, you’ll need specialized (and expensive) software to extract the audio and video. It’s almost certainly faster, easier, and cheaper to ask the film lab for a format you can use.

Agreed … you might find something over here to help you ( https://dcinemaforum.com/forum/index.php?board=2.0 ) but if you’re none too comfortable with low level nuts and bolts then requesting a format you can use directly from the lab is surely the much faster and easier option.
