  MXF TO OMF2 export settings error

  Hi, I’m working on PC. Avid MC 4.02v academic version, new user.

  Orginal problem:
  I need some help with creating and sending embeded audio OMF files
  My directions were to take my 720p/30 sequence and to open it in 30i
  My orginal project type has mixed frames 24p, 1080/60i, and 720p/60. (orginally MXF FILES)
  I transcode AIFF,(convert to 48k) then when I went to export, I got an error about “omf2 cannot do mixed frames”

  ===========================================================
  New problem: export didn’t happen, but

  Now throughout the timeline there’s “.new02” name added to my clips

  can I go back to the very beginging, so the “new.02” isn’t on the clips in my timeline???????????

  since I kept getting errors I have been doing the same transocde/consolidate so many times I don’t know how that is effecting my files/folders.

  I would like to just start over. Is there a way to put my files back to the orginal settings?

  Then I would like to try and transcode and export clip by clip??
  Can I just “lift” the other audio/framerates from the timeline. I’m not sure where to start.
