Does ffmpeg support the creation of Op -atom mxf files? I’m looking for a way of creating Op – atom A/V files from an Op1a XDcam.mxf and then back to Op1a.

The Op – atom files must have the required matching metadata in order for apps to “see” the multiple essence files as a single clip.

    Thanks

I don’t quite follow your question, but wrapping to MXF might be useful.

    HI Lou,

I want to take an OP1a file and rewrap to OP – atom, with the resulting atom files being recognized by Avid as a single clip.

    Thanks
    John
