Many thanks for the info. Watched the tutorial, very helpful. One last question, I’m currently running FCP 5.0.4. Are there any issues with importing (say, files that run from one card to the next, duplicated frames etc.) with this version of software that I should be aware of? Seem to recall reading about some issues — wondering if I need to hurry up and upgrade to 5.1.1.

The only issue I know of is files imported with FCP 5.0.4 have issues when editing them with 5.1. SO if you are going to upgrade, do it before you import your footage.
