  mxf import failed

  hi,
  I just tried to import a mxf file we recieved from our customer and avid gave me the following error message:

  

  in words:
  “Exception:; MXFDomain: Failed to open AAF-MXF I/O file for reading”

  does anybody know what this means and if there is a way to import the file or is the file just corrupt/unusable for avid?

  i am using media composer 2.5.3
