  MXF footage and Watch Files

  Does anyone out there know if there is a way to get a watch folder to recognize an MXF file other than taking it out of the container folder and dropping it directly into the watch folder? I would do that, but the problem with that is it ends up cutting interviews into segments rather than maintaining the clip in its entirety. Any suggestions?
