MXF files? Useless?
I was able to salvage some data from a HD that broke, but only the actual MXF files from some old P2 cards. None of the other data made it out b4 it died completely.
When i try to do anything with these, like import into FCP or view using any mac based program it doesn t recognize the file. Is there any way i can uses these mxf files, also the audio is not important at all, just the video. which i was able to see on a PC using windows media player.

this was just for some home movies, good to know that its out there, but that is a little bit more than i think this footage is worth to me.
