MXF files
Hello! Pretty new to media managing and ran into a hiccup. I created proxies for an AVID downstream but I entered the settings under the custom delivery in Da Vinci rather then the Avid AAF presets. The editor says they need to be redone but I was wondering if I could use the smaller mxf files already made to redo it rather then reprocessing the raws which takes much longer.

If you want to have hope to relinking to the RAW when the cut is done, best to redo them with the camera masters. That’s the only guarantee they will relink. Redoing with the files you have might strip away needed metadata
