  mxf downconversion

  What’s the best way to downcovert .mxf files? Originally, I converted the source mpeg4 files to .mxf files (using Clip Browser 2.0) to edit in an XDCAM timeline using PPCS3. I then backed up all of the .mxf files to DVD as data. Not thinking about SD, I then deleted the orignial source mpeg4 files. I would have downconverted them using Clip Browser 2.0 had a known this was going to be an SD project. Sucks that the Clip Browser software can’t downconvert the .mxf files too.
