    Hi,
I am opening p2 footage to edit in Premiere CS3. Those files give me 1 DVCPRO HD video track and 4 mono audio tracks. I edit a sequence.

I then open that Premiere project in AE CS3, and in my sequence the audio tracks are not correct. Rather than being 4 mono tracks, it gives me 4 stereo mixdowns of all the tracks.

Anyone else notice this? Is there a fix/workaround other than exporting a wav file from Premiere for every edited sequence?

(and unfortunately I cannot do my AE work and bring it back into premiere cuzz I need to export at varying dimensions that Premiere does not support)

    Thanks

I don’t know if this helps but can’t you just export your video (whatever settings) from AE and then import those into Premiere and then export with video and audio? I would really try to not do your mastering in AE. Its not really built for it on the audio front.

Unfortunately I cannot bring the video back in to Premiere because I need to export quicktime clips is non-standard resolutions (such as 200×400, etc.)

Do you have experience with this same audio problem of importing 4 mono MXF tracks into AE?

I thought Premiere had the ability to export custom frame sizes. I use FCP so I can’t really be sure.
