mxf and flip4mac product fro fcp
Hello,
I’M using Flip4mac to import MXF file in my final cut proI have a lot of problem with this application.
each time I import after 10 to 12 clip final cut pro crashany idea ???
I delete all the pref for final cut pro
I also delete and reinstall Flip4macthanks

What versions of the programs are you using? Flip4Mac, FCP, MacOS….? Oh yeah… don’t forget to teel us what Mac you have and what’s in it.

OSX 10.4.8
flip4mac release 2.0.0.18 and also release 2.1.0.4 ( beta )Quad G5 2.5ghz with 2gram
all the software for fcp and photoshop

WHy are you using Flip4Mac? FCP imports MXF footage. This is footage shot with the HVX-200, right?

I agree with Shane but you were probably like me and had to purchase this software before FCP had full support of XDCAM. I understand the amount of expense in this software and its silly to quit using it since it is a network software.
Carl, I would have to say that since you downloaded beta software, that may be your problem. Beta software doesn’t always work for everybody. I would say find out how to uninstall the beta software and reinstall the current version software. Give that a shot and see if that helps you.
