    Hey All,

Just downloaded and installed my MVP upgrade. Went to run and now I get this:
Failed to initialize the common language runtime engine. Please install the .NET Framework (download is available from Windows Update).

I am running Windows 10 Pro, everything is up to date Windows wise and I turned everything on for netframework 3.5 and 4.7 in my “turn windows features on and off.”

    Any ideas?

Same issue here, have you solved this?

Vegas 13 and 14 work perfectly, and Vegas 15 refuses to work.

I did get it resolved, but not sure how. I believe I found some resources by Googling….

Sorry I can recall. I THINK I had to adjust some Windows 10 settings

    Good luck!

    Hi Scott

Have you tried this fix from the Vegas forum ?

    https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-pro-15-build-177-general-discussion–108306/?page=11

    Here’s hoping that it’ll help.

    Cheers !

    YES!!!
That was the fix I used. I have had to reset my VST plugin settings numerous times for transport issues to, so this seems to help.

    I’m my case I had to rename “C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX\Plugins” folder.

It seems Real Smart Motion Blur (RSMB5OFX) was causing the crashes.

Thanks for posting that thread with the workarounds!
