I would like there to be an easier way to calibrate the DVI out of Multibridge Extreme. I am trying to use bars generated by FCP to set the setup and hue on an apple 23″ cinema display. This is rather difficult as there are gamma settings but no set up or hue controls. It is nice that there is a “blue only” setting to help with the hue. It is not nice that the bars from FCP disappear from the display whenever I switch to the Blackmagic control panel. It would be helpful if this did not happen, or else perhaps the BME could generate calibration bars itself.

I also tried using the Apple calibration utility with desktop turned on but it’s controls have no effect on the MBE’s DVI output.

BTW, has anyone make a gamma setting for NTSC or HDV-720p that they would be willing to share?

    Thank you,

    I share the same experience.

how in the world are we supposed to make our own lookup tables
if the utility shuts down the prevew we need to calibrate from?

thats why I asked about lut settings in a post below.

I need my SDI monitor to match the LCD and its not quite there yet,
    but it certainly could be.
