Is there an option in Premiere that lets me mute audio and video at the same time? so that all linked audio or video gets muted when either one of them is turned off.

for example I have a videotrack 1 and all it’s audio is in audiotrack 1. If I now turn off videotrack one I want it’s audio on audiotrack 1 muted. Is this – or something similar possible?
similar to that what “enable” does.

    Hi Marc,

No single click. The easiest way to do it would probably be to Alt/Option click on either the video or audio portion of the clip to make a independent selection and use the keyboard shortcut Shift+Cmd/Ctr + E to Enable/Disable the clip.

    Hope that helps!

command shift E. Enable/Disable clip. THANKS, works for me!
( I came here looking for the same thing, a quick way to mute a clip like in Cubase, you hit the 7 for the mute tool, then click on a clip) This will do just fine. thx
