Hi everyone. I’m just wondering if anyone knows how to create the effect of multiple screens in 3D space. I’ve seen it used a few times now, where we see what appear to be 100’s of floating screens in 3D space, while the camera pans and rotates. There are screens filling the whole frame, some way back in Z space, some close, all evenly spread out.

I’ve done this a bit manually simply by nesting compositions, but it would take hours and hours to do 100’s of them. It’s almost like what you see when you use an image with the Particle Effect. If anyone knows what I’m blabbering about and how you do it, I’d sure appreciate their imput.

Check out Trapcode’s Particular or Echospace. If you use a article effect, you might be able to do it by making a long comp where each image is one frame long, then you use this comp as the particle source, so the particle effect makes a particle out of each frame of the movie.

    That’s one way, anyway.

    Anybody else?
